The CPO skills
Section titled “The CPO skills”- cpo-intake — raw signal in, one decision out: build, drop, or later. Owns saying no. Every idea enters as a signal; none skips the verdict.
- cpo-strategy — the one-page strategy record that grounds every call. Only you change a bet.
- cpo-shape — a decided idea becomes one clear card: problem, user stories, acceptance criteria, in user terms.
- cpo-brief — the card becomes a design brief with a demonstration list a prototype must satisfy.
- cpo-retro — what last window taught us, fed back in as signal.
The rule
Section titled “The rule”Pull before writing. Before any card or brief is written, the skill pulls what already exists — the tracker, the knowledge base, prior research — into it. New documents never start blank.
Deliverables
Section titled “Deliverables”Intake verdict · strategy record · the ICP · research reports · competitive brief · idea slate · retro report → the card and its brief.
Who participates
Section titled “Who participates”Product and Research do the work; the CPO holds the strategy record.
